Description: Smardakito is the village that has preserved its traditional features more intact than any other. It’s a picturesque village with cobblestone streets and two-storey-houses, decorated with lintels and nice yards.
There is a large paved square in front of the church of Aghios Antonios with the tall tower-like steeple, where you can see a traditional laundry with running water from the old source. In the same area you will find the church of “Panaghia tou Vrissiou”, where a local feast takes place every 1st of May, as well as the bay of Aghios Romanos.
