Description: In Aetofolia, which is built on the hill Vouni, north winds blow permanently. The location “Kannavas” is one of the most beautiful natural landscapes.
A little further we find the medieval settlement “Tis Koris o Pyrgos” (The Daughter’s Tower). A legend says that Persephone, daughter of Demeter, lived here. The folk tradition however says the Tower belonged to a princess. Her goldsmiths made the golden sow and twelve piglets, which, according to the legend, will be found by a new daughter, who will be born in this place.
The surrounding places Kammeni Spilia, Ellinikaria and Polemou Kampos are of great natural and historical interest.
