Information:

In October 1987 Andreas Christodoulides after a long reclusion from current theatrical practices, decided to realize his dream a few meters away from the Green line. The downgraded area of Famagusta Gate started to revive culturally when the Theatro Ena opened its gates. There was no state subsidy at the time.

The aim was to fill the gap in the domain of the theatre. A gam in the avant-guard scene. Younger audiences looked for more experimental, alternative productions.
