This unique Museum-archive for Cypriot Solon Michaelides (1905-1979), who was a great composer, musicologist, conductor, teacher, judge and convener, Director and definitely a multifaceted personality with international radiation, which dominated the musical life of Cyprus and Greece. In the Museum-there is File photographs from the composer's life, personal belongings, personal music library and most of the manuscripts of his works. It also projected movie about his life and his work. The Museum organized lectures and concerts on both the life and work of Solon Michaelides and other Cypriot or Greek composers. We also offer educational activities for school groups of all levels, with a view to introducing children to the life and work of Solon Michaelides. The Museum is open to music students interested in a project, handwritten sheet music, book or study about Solon Michaelides. Conducted tours in the Museum and provided information for the musical work of Solon Michaelides, with prior arrangement.
