Description

The graphic village of Paliomylos is built in one of the most beautiful localities of Marathasa, in the southerners sides of Troodos.

The village is built in a medium altitude of 1040 meters. His mountain landscape is dismembered from a lot of small streams, that they constitute the river of Diarizoy. The valleys of streams are narrow and deep with abrupt sides.

The tall mountain tops pop up from all the sides of the village. The taller mountain tops are: in the northerners the Koukos (1112 meters) and in south-eastern the West Siolter (1710 meters). The imposing Olympus is raised 3,5 kilometers Easterly of the village (1952 meters). Olympus is the taller mountain of Cyprus.
