Description

Magaras Cave is the largest of Lesvos (120 m. length). Important archeological findings from the Roman and Byzantine era have been discovered inside the cave.

There are not stalactites or stalagmites, but the cave has pretty interesting bifurcations.

If you want to visit Magaras Cave, it is prefered to ask the locals for help or join a trekking club.
