Description

Mesotopos is located in the western part of the island and is 78 km from the town of Mytilene. It is said that is is probably named like this because it is located right in the middle of the distance between Agra and Eressos village.

The attractions of the village are the two churches of Agios  Dimitrios and Virgin Mary. They were built by local craftsmen and they are very famous for their art even until this day.

The Seaport area of Mesotopos has beautiful beaches like Podaras, Tavari and Chrousos. There you can find several cafes on the beach, as well as numerous rooms to rent.
