Description

Keramia is located on the road to Agiasos village. Inhabited by refugees from Mikra Asia. Remarkable monument is the church of Agios Georgios and Agios Charalambos which is built above the old church of Agia Sophia.

‘Agios Georgios’ and ‘Agios Charalambos’ are considered remnants of the great castle of ‘Gieremia’ and date back to the 15th century. The name of the village testifies to the existence of workshops for ceramics in the Middle Ages.
