Description

Ippeios is located close to Mytilene. The earliest date for its existence is identified back in 1567. It is built across one of the most fertile plains of the island which is full of olive groves, vegetables and various kind of fruit trees. It is said that the name of this village comes from the word mild as it is flat. At its center,  built in 1741, the church of St. Procopius stands out.
