Description: Skala Eressos is one of the most famous and largest beaches of the island. It is sandy with fine gray sand and very calm, because it is not affected by the Aegean “meltemi” (northeastern) winds. It’s a completely organized beach with umbrellas and sunbeds and gets calmer as you move away from the settlement. The beach of Skala Eressos has been awarded many times with the blue flag and is considered as the most clean and cared beach in Greece by the EU.
