Description

Description: One of the most easily accessible beaches, close to Karpathos town, is Megali Amoopi Beach (also known as “Pera Ammos”). Totally organized, sandy, crowded with lots of taverns, cafes and mini markets next to it. Crystal waters is something that you should not worry about. You can also swim till the next beach, Mikri Amoopi or walk to the small church of Saint Apostoles (Agioi Apostoloi).

In 2017 a ramp for wheelchairs and special WC were installed at the beach.
