Description

The Occupied Famagusta Cultural Centre was built in 1998 on the confrontation line near Barricade Deryneia and hosting anti-occupation events Famagusta Municipality and other bodies and organizations. At the site of the Cultural Center works canteen and observatory. Visitors can borrow binoculars to gaze even from afar his beloved city and almost all our occupied land. In the multipurpose room of the Centre are projections of a video film on Famagusta, both hundreds of foreigners who visit the center daily, and school students of Primary and Secondary Education, which have included the Cultural Center in educational excursion programs. also organized art exhibitions (photography, painting, sculpture, etc.), and other cultural events, both indoors and in the small amphitheater in the summer months. The premises of the Centre also used for seminars, conferences, lectures, etc. Informative and enlightening material in various languages is available free for guests.
