Information: Situated very close to Exombourgo, the church of Agia Eleoussa was probably built during the first centuries AD (400-600 AD) and was the parish church of a christian settlement.
Its dimensions are 14m x 5m. It has a beautiful marble iconostasis and its floor is decorated with rectangular marble slabs with reliefs.
Since 1971 it has been a property of the Holy Foundation. It is dedicated to Zoodochos Pighi (Life Giving Fountain) and a Divine Liturgy is celebrated on the first Wednesday of each month, as well as the Akathist Hymn is sung on the fifth Friday of the Great Lent.
Moreover, debates on religious matters are organized by the club “Panagia Eleoussa”.
