"On the other side of the Moon"

A woman tells through her songs stories of passions from love.

This year KDEPPAM, as a follow-up to the successful collaboration that has been in recent years with the School of Fine Arts, art exhibitions dedicated to Alexis Akrithakis and Michalis Katzourakis, will hold a different event at the Mykonos Artistic Center, at the garden of the School; the musical performance "On the Other Side of the Moon". An important cultural event that will open the doors of the School to the residents and visitors of Mykonos.

Rita Antonopoulou co-performs with a leading musician, guitarist Manolis Androulidakis, and travels to the most beautiful Greek and foreign erotic songs of all time, while reciting texts of great writers who have talked about love and its passions.

With cover songs that surprise, love is present, sometimes underground hidden, and sometimes deafening with passion and momentum.

A night full of passion and subversive mood, always with the distinct voice of Rita Antonopoulou in the surrounding area of the School of Fine Arts on Saturday, June 24, 2017.

Many were the erotic adventures of the Moon, according to mythology. From her union with the Sun, the Hours were born, and from her association with Zeus, Pandia, Nemea, and Ersi. Moon is the most important celestial body because it is closer to us and therefore has a profound effect on us. She is always perceived as a woman and a great witch. She's circular, like women.

This magical garden will host us in a night under bright stars, as that night begins the new Moon. A night without a moon, with only the stars and the voice of Rita. An evening of nostalgia, romance and love. New Moon symbolizes new beginnings for love, romance and health.
