Description

Skoutaros is located in the northern part of Lesvos, 62 km from the town of Mytilene. It is built on a green hill, at an altitude of 151 meters. It is famous for the traditional musicians.

The attraction is the three-aisled royal temple of the Assumption, with exquisite carved iconostasis. The village school is housed in a wonderful neoclassical building of 1909. The port of the village is Anaxos.
