Description

Description: The coastal village of Diafani is settled on the eastern side of the island. Built by the people of Olympos around 1850, it was a link to the village as the products were carried to Diafani by boat. A long beach with pebbles and the harbor as well the church of Zoodohos Pigis are the most notable things of the village. For sure you will meet many women wearing the traditional costume of Karpathos in their daily life just like in Olympos. Many restaurants on the seaside offer traditional food and fish. From here you can visit the beach of Vananta either on foot or boat or even car. Furthermore there is almost daily connection by boat to Pigadia.
